Training programme in the use of drones for the construction sector

About DRONES4VET

favicon
Drones4VET addresses an identified gap in the training offered within the construction-related activities.

To date, the education and training offer has solely focused on the mastering of the traditional techniques. Surveillance, inspection, assessment of civil works, buildings and constructions sites were made from the ground or the construction itself.

This program gives access to an up-to-date surveying technique: the use of drones. An aerial view from outside can be used to capture images for expert appraisal, 3D modelling or thermal studies. Learn all this with Drones4VET!

10 training modules have been developed, and a handbook to give guidance for teaching.

Drone regulations are now the same in all EU countries, so we have collaborated with 5 countries to harmonise practices.

After an international survey, key skills and drone use requirements have been listed. Then the various specialist teachers from the Drones4VET team pooled their knowledge to create the 10 training modules.

Drones4VET is funded by the Erasmus+ European Union Programme under the reference № 2021-1-ES01-KA220-VET-000033094.
